The Very Reverend Donald McMonigle is an Anglican priest working in aged care in Melbourne. A former dean of Wangaratta Cathedral in rural Victoria, he was a parish priest for twenty years following several years of teaching prior to ordination. His long-standing association with Assisi and interest in Francis have been an ongoing source of inspiration. McMonigle has made numerous pilgrimages to Assisi and the Umbrian region including trips to Franciscan sites in Cortona and Mount La Verna.
