Christy Wilkens is a writer for CatholicMom.com, Blessed Is She, and Accepting the Gift. She is a Dame of Magistral Grace in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which she joined after a pilgrimage to Lourdes with her husband, Todd, and their youngest son, Oscar—a trip that was sponsored by the organization.
Wilkens is a lector and catechist at her parish. She has appeared on The Jennifer Fulwiler Show on SiriusXM and has been featured in the Order of Malta American Association newsletter, Hospitallers. Wilkens earned a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
The Wilkenses live with their six children in the Austin, Texas, area.
