With twenty years of experience in newspaper and magazine journalism, she is a columnist and blogger for National Catholic Reporter, and is the former managing editor of U.S. Catholic. Schlumpf holds a master's degree in theological studies, with an emphasis on religion and news media, and is the author of As We Wait: Spiritual and Practical Advice for Those Trying to Adopt.
