Your Role as an Ave Maria Press Intern:
As a dedicated and curious intern, you'll have the opportunity to dive into a variety of tasks, including:
- Immersing yourself in the publishing process, from book acquisition to release, and gaining valuable insights into the industry.
- Crafting engaging marketing copy and attention-grabbing social media posts to captivate our audience.
- Preparing compelling emails, ads, and other promotional materials that inspire readers to explore our books and resources.
- Unleashing your creativity by designing eye-catching social media graphics and other visually appealing materials.
- Showcasing your web design and formatting skills to create captivating online experiences for our audience.
- Assisting in the development and execution of captivating marketing campaigns during significant periods like Lent and Advent.
- Exploring new media and marketing channel opportunities to expand our reach and connect with a broader audience.
- Providing essential support for various job tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our marketing efforts.
Note: This internship is unpaid, requires 7-12 hours per week, and can be conducted remotely if you are not near the South Bend, IN area.
Term Length: Fall Semester
Requirements: Undergraduate students majoring in English, Marketing, Business, Psychology, or Sociology are encouraged to apply. Computer experience and familiarity with the internet are required. Knowledge of design software and interest in book publishing as a career is a plus. If you have a special interest in working with our social media, please indicate this interest in your cover letter. You can also send any design portfolios if you are more interested in the designing side of the marketing internship.
