Ave Maria Press (“we” or “us”) offers a selection of licensed digital content including but not limited to PDFs, PowerPoints, video files, audio files, and other documents (collectively, the “Content”). The Content is available exclusively from the Ave Maria Press website and made available to download to personal or group devices according these Terms of Use (“Terms of Use” or “Terms”).

Ave Maria Press may amend these Terms of Use at any time by posting them on its website.

2. ACCESS AND USE OF LICENSED DIGITAL FILES

Your License. By purchasing a digital product described as a “license” (e.g., PDF License), Ave Maria Press is pleased to grant you a non-exclusive limited license to access, view, print, and use the Content for personal, organizational, and non-commercial purposes as set forth in these Terms.

Organizations that represent or are composed of multiple entities (e.g., dioceses, archdioceses, associations) must purchase separate individual licenses on behalf of each entity (parish, school, etc.) or defer the purchase directly to each entity.

The Content. You may not either directly or through the use of any device, software, Internet site, web-based service, or other electronic means stream, capture, reproduce, duplicate, archive, distribute, upload, publish, modify, translate, broadcast, perform, display, sell, transmit or retransmit the Content unless expressly permitted by Ave Maria Press in writing.

If Ave Maria Press determines in its sole discretion that you are violating any of these Terms, it may (i) notify you, and (ii) use technical measures to block or restrict your access or use of the Ave Maria Press website. In either case, you agree immediately to stop accessing or using in any way (or attempting to access or use) the licensed files.

3. GENERAL INFORMATION

Choice of Law and Forum. These Terms of Use are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Indiana without giving effect to principles of conflicts of law. In the event of a claim by you against Ave Maria Press or by Ave Maria Press against you, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the St. Joseph County of the State of Indiana.
